  • Before I Knew How to Ask | 24"x24" | Abstract Figurative

Before I Knew How to Ask reflects one of the earliest experiences we all share — wanting, needing, or longing for something before we had the words to express it. This tender piece, captures that universal moment when emotion comes first and language comes much later.

The soft layers of blue and gentle textures evoke the way these memories live inside us: blurred at the edges but powerful in feeling. Part of the Before I Knew series, this work honors the small, unspoken gestures of childhood, the instinct to reach out, to seek connection, and to trust that someone will understand without explanation.

A meaningful choice for collectors drawn to themes of vulnerability, early memory, and the tender beginnings of communication and connection.
