Born in India Pratima Aravabhoomi spent her early childhood near the mining landscapes where her father worked as a geologist. At seven, her family moved to Hyderabad when her father left geology to pursue entrepreneurship. Growing up with a father whose work spanned science and industry, and a mother deeply rooted in spirituality, she was exposed to different ways of understanding the world.

After moving to the United States at 21, she lived in Atlanta and Silicon Valley. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and pursued graduate studies in design at Portfolio Center in Atlanta.

She went on to build a career spanning technology, design, and entrepreneurship. In 2019, an experience at a meditation retreat led her to pursue painting as a way of expressing what words could not.

Her work reflects a fascination with how time shapes both the physical world and our inner lives.

Her work has been exhibited nationally. Her paintings are held in private and corporate collections across the United States.

She is currently based between Florida and New Jersey.
