Between Shores
Between Shores
Between Shores is a meditation on transition, on the tender space between where we’ve been and where we’re going.
It traces the pulse of memory as it shifts into something new, reminding us that connection is never truly lost, only transformed.
Each painting holds the shimmer of recognition, the joy of rediscovering what was always within reach, the moment we remember that even in change, we belong.
At its heart, Between Shores is an act of remembering of the invisible threads that connect self, memory and time.
Studio Notes
October 2025
Life often asks us to keep moving forward, to grow, to adapt, to appear strong. But somewhere along the way, we lose touch with the part of us that once saw beauty in everything.
This series is about pausing long enough to listen for that voice again, the one that hums quietly beneath the noise, that remembers wonder, softness, and truth.
It’s not about going back, but about returning inward to meet the child who waited, and to realize you were never truly lost, only becoming whole.
Inspiration
This series was inspired by how memory lives within us, not as stories of the past, but as subtle threads woven through who we are today.
I’m fascinated by the beauty in those transitions: the spaces between certainty and possibility, logic and feeling.
Between Shores became my way of exploring that, how we hold on, let go, and return, often all at once.
The Process
What started as a plan became a conversation.
Colors shifted, forms reappeared, meanings unfolded in their own time. Each layer became a response to what the painting remembered, an ongoing dialogue between control and release, clarity and mystery.
Transformation happens when you stop forcing and start listeningm when you let joy rise, unhurried, to the surface.
