Original | Custom Memory Sketch
$350.00
Some photographs hold more than what we can see.
A childhood moment. Someone you love. A beloved pet. An ordinary day you still think about.
Share a photograph and a little of the story behind it. I'll ask about the part the photograph doesn't show: the feeling, relationship, or small detail you still remember.
Then I interpret your memory in the loose, expressive style of my Sketch Series, using layers of drawing and paint on hand-cut paper.
The result is a one-of-a-kind original inspired not simply by what happened, but by what you remember.

1. Share your story
After placing your order, you'll receive an email with a link to a questionnaire where you can share your memory, upload a few photographs, and tell me the story behind them. You're also welcome to include anything else that feels meaningful about the moment.
2. Creating your artwork
Using your photographs and your story as inspiration, I'll create a one of a kind original on paper. Rather than recreating a photograph, I interpret what made that moment meaningful, whether it is wonder, tenderness, quiet joy, or another feeling that continues to stay with you.
3. Preview your artwork
Once your piece is complete, I'll email you a preview before shipping. Minor adjustments may be requested after your preview.
4. Carefully packaged and shipped
It will be carefully framed, if you selected framing, thoughtfully packaged, and shipped, ready to enjoy for years to come.
